Teya May is a hair stylist and makeup artist located at
Carrara home based salon as well as offering select mobile
services for special events, including wedding makeup and bridal
hair as well as professional make up and formal hair styles.
Born in Europe, Teya spent her teens as a professional Latin-
American dancer where her flair for fashion, makeup and
glamour shone. After discovering her true passion lay with hair
and beauty, Teya opened a hairdressing salon with her mother
while in her early twenties. The salon soon drew a strong
following, and quickly expanded to employ 7 hairdressers.
During this time Teya studied to become a hair colour expert,
and also specialised in modern haircuts for men and women,
straightening, perms, up styles, and makeup artistry.
Relocating to the Gold Coast to start her new business, Teya
May draws on a wealth of experience in the hair and makeup
industry to ensure customers receive top class treatment with
